Derby's Story

Kentucky and her babies, Derby and Annie, were found behind a KFC trying to survive on their own. Thanks to rescue, they're now safe, healthy, and ready to trade outdoor struggles for indoor snuggles! Annie did lose one eye due to a severe URI, but it hasn't slowed her down one bit-she's just as playful and lovable as her sibling. This sweet little family is now looking for their happily-ever-afters inside loving homes where they'll never have to worry again.

Friends of companion animals values placing the right animal in the right home. With that said, it does NOT do instant adoptions. We do reference checks, vet checks, and possible home checks on any potential fur-babies... NO EXCEPTIONS.
