Delta is not exactly a people kitten. He's working on it - and he's making great strides! - but he still likes to hiss and swat and do "airplane ears". We know he'll do well with someone who can give him a lot of patience and the time of day - we have photographic evidence of him falling asleep in his favorite caretaker's lap! - so we're writing all of this to try and find the perfect person for him. The person who will love him unconditionally, despite his temper tantrums, and be his friend for life. And if you need a few tips and tricks to win his heart over: he likes food, especially treats. He likes to play with a wide variety of toys (even though he acts shy and like he wasn't playing if you catch him in the act). He LOVES a warm lap to curl up on. We think he'd sit on a lap for hours if given the chance, at least right now. We know his upcoming teenage years might give him an independent streak that results in less lap-sitting. But he'll still be your friend. With a cat like this, once you win over their trust, you'll be best friends for life.<br/>We also want to let you know that, given his spiciness, we'd recommend no children and no dogs. He may do well with another cat, but honestly?
