Delaney's Story

This gal doesn’t do anything halfway! She’s got three modes. First, there’s love mode, and we’re talking rolling in your lap, purring, making biscuits mode, totally into it. Second, there’s play mode. That’s crazy attacking everything and bouncing off everything zoomies! Then there’s chill mode, stretched out in front of a window or in her bed, often zonked out, because – hey – when you love and play that hard, you need your down time!

Delaney is naturally joyful and can amuse herself with toys and squirrel-watching, so she’d be OK as an only cat, with adequate human attention, of course. And if you’ve got another high-energy kitten (Delaney is 6 months old), she’d make a good playmate. But if you’ve got a cat (or cats) who don’t want to tear around the house playing chase, Delaney would not be a good choice. She would likely pester and annoy a mature cat.

Delaney may look like she came from a cat show table – so very pretty and keeps herself well-groomed – but actually she came from an outdoor cat colony. She has very little indoor home experience and will need lots of guidance and patience as she moves through adolescence. She’s also a smart and engaging kitty. Already, you can almost have a conversation with her, and that will come out more and more once she’s not under the influence of teenage-brain.

Application can be found online at https://secure.jotform.us/form/51263873139156
