Dela's Story
Dela was brought to the shelter after she had been living as a stray. She is about 10 months old. Dela obviously did not have a ton of interactions with people before coming to us. This poor girl is so scared but is trying her best to open up to us. We can pet her and she likes the attention, but she is very skittish. Dela seems like she would do well in a home with other animals as long as they are calmer and friendly. She would probably not be the biggest fan of children. Once Dela is in a home and settled in, she will definitely be much happier and show her new family how sweet she can be. She just needs a family who is willing to work slowly with her and give her plenty of patience and love.
