Deku was found by a good Samaritan after being abandoned when he was only about six weeks old, his approximate DOB is 09/02/2025. Even as an abandoned baby he was strong and full of himself. That may have been much of what contributed to this little boys survival. He is an American Polydactyl cat. An American Polydactyl is a domestic cat with a genetic trait causing extra toes, famous as Hemingway cats, and valued by historic sailors. Deku uses his extra toes on his front paws as if he has thumbs! Even as a baby he would pick up toys with his paws using his thumbs as if he had human hands. His extra toes are not the only thing that makes this boy unique, you would have to meet him to realize what a special personality he has. Deku is outgoing, playful, and active.
