Deja Mew's Story

Meet Deja Mew

Some cats get second chances... Deja Mew said “I'll take another round, please.”

Originally transferred to us from SCRAPS as a very feral girl, Deja Mew's plan was simple: get spayed, get safe, and return home through TNR. But life had other ideas. After being released, she disappeared... only to turn back up later at a local emergency clinic after a kind Good Samaritan found her and thought she might be injured.

And here's where it gets wild—our president just happened to be working a reception shift that day. One look and... wait a second... she looked familiar. A quick scan confirmed it: microchipped to us. Deja Mew had found her way back. Because apparently, once you're part of this rescue, you're part of it for life.

Now back in care, she landed with the amazing Karla (fresh off getting Pickles and Relish adopted—iconic), who took a chance on this “feral” girl. And guess what? Deja Mew had been doing some growing.

Deja Mew is a young adult, estimated to be around 9–12 months old, with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle potential.

She may come in with a little panic hiss and a “don't touch me” performance, but don't be fooled—it's all part of her tough-girl act. Give her a minute, and suddenly she's leaning in for ear scratches, accepting belly rubs, and soaking up love like she's been waiting her whole life for it.

Her love language? Churu first, everything else second. Toss in some toys and playtime, and you've got yourself a very happy girl.

Deja Mew would love a home with at least one other feline companion—having a kitty friend helps her feel confident and secure. She could likely do okay with a calm, respectful dog, but high-energy dog behavior is definitely not her vibe.

Deja Mew is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped (with registration), and ready to settle into her forever home.

Her adoption fee is $85.

She's ready to write her next chapter—hopefully with you.

Does Deja sound like a good fit for your home?
