Hello, I am Dedric! <br/><br/>I have been settling in at WAG for the past couple of weeks and everyone has been having fun getting to know me. I am a young guy at around 4 months old who has lots to learn and a lot of playful love to share. I was loved very much by my previous guardians but they reached out to the shelter to seek a home for me where I could be the only kitty and thrive. Sadly I was not getting along with my feline siblings who were older than me and so didn't match my playstyle and found me quite stressful to live with! At first I was unsure about being at WAG but I soon started to show my playful side and will ask for pets and purr away happily. I sometimes show my love with little nibbles to your hands and I don't stay still for long, I am not a lapcat at this time but I do like to be near the humans and have their attention. Hopefully I will be able to relax this week as I just had my neuter surgery and have strict instructions from the Vet to take it easy, and wear this ridiculous cone. I was a brave boy at the clinic, and the Vet said I was healthy and had no concerns there. I have had my first FVRCP vaccine so will need my booster in a month, and I am up to date with my deworming and flea treatments as standard.<br/><br/>I am hoping for a quiet home without other cats, dogs or little humans ideally, someone looking for a single companion cat who will keep me safe and love me forever! I will need lots of enrichment to meet my needs as an indoor kitty and can't wait for find my future family to bring me home and be patient whilst I settle in and transition after all these life changes recently. <br/><br/>If it sounds like we'd be the purrrfect match, what are you waiting for?
