Decker (diabetic)'s Story
Adopt Decker - "Chicken Boy"

Meet Decker, a three-year-old tabby with soft medium hair and a heart as warm as his favorite spot on the couch. Despite a rough start surviving on the streets while managing diabetes, Decker has blossomed into a gentle, loving cat who adores people-and rotisserie chicken most of all.

Decker is calm, cuddly, and playful on his own terms. He loves curling up on top of you during TV time or snoozing nearby, keeping quiet company. While he can be a little shy with new sights and sounds, he quickly relaxes in a peaceful home environment.

He's comfortable around other cats and would likely do fine with calm, respectful dogs or kids. He's fully litter trained, enjoys playing with string toys, scratching posts, and-most of all-snuggling after a good meal.

Decker takes insulin shots twice a day like a champ, and in return, he'll fill your life with warmth, charm, and love. If you're looking for a sweet, steady companion who just wants to be near you, Decker's ready to be your loyal friend (and your chicken-sharing buddy).

I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

Adoption Fee: $250 + applicable tax

MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you'd like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking "Apply for Adoption".
