Day Day's Story

Meet Day Day

Day Day was just a baby himself — only about 3 months old — when he was dumped in Branch Brook Park in Newark last August alongside a litter of kittens. Thankfully, he and his brother Craig were rescued together, and now this gorgeous boy is still waiting for the family he’s always deserved.

Day Day is the definition of gentle. Quiet, sweet, playful, and endlessly lovable once he feels safe. He can be shy at first with new people, but give him a little patience and you’ll discover the softest soul who melts for pets and affection. He absolutely loves spring toys, adores treats, and will proudly carry toys around in his mouth like a little dog.

His stunning salt-and-pepper coat may even mean he’s part salmiak cat — but beyond how beautiful he is, it’s his calm, tender personality that makes everyone fall for him.

Still under a year old, Day Day should be spending his days loved, spoiled, and curled up beside his person — not growing up in foster care waiting to be chosen.

His brother Craig is also available for adoption. Craig is a much shyer boy, but deeply sweet, and if anyone is open to adopting the pair together, we would absolutely love to see these brothers stay connected.

Fostered in Bloomfield, NJ
Transport available for the perfect family

To inquire about adopting Day Day (or Day Day + Craig), email Diane at dapsanimals@gmail.com
