David's Story

Aw, David... He is a 4 month old kitten who is a gentle, playful little boy who wants so badly to be close to people, but he's still building the confidence to believe it's okay.

You'll often find him sitting nearby, watching the action and quietly wishing he were brave enough to join in. Sometimes he'll settle close beside you, hoping for affection, only to remember he's supposed to be nervous. He's a sweet little contradiction who's making steady progress every day as he learns that hands bring gentle pets, treats, and love, not just medicine.

The quickest way to David's heart is patience... and maybe a Churu or two. Once he realizes you have snacks, he's suddenly much more interested in seeing what else you have to offer! He's also discovering that laps aren't reserved for the boldest kittens, and each day his confidence grows a little more.

David is looking for someone willing to let him blossom at his own pace. With time, kindness, and a confident animal companion to show him the ropes, we think he's going to become an incredibly devoted companion. He's dog-friendly, especially with calmer dogs, cat-friendly, and would do best with children ages 12 and up.

Adoption fee is $150. He is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, started on vaccines, had a wellness exam and free exam at Guardian vet care with in 60 days.
