C.A.R.A (Citizens for Animal Rescue and Adoption)'s Adoption Policy
Please email citizensanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application or use our online link. Once an application is approved you will be contacted to set up an appointment to visit the animals. If you let us know what you have in mind (age, gender, personality), we'll have several ready to meet. We are open to the public Monday-Friday 1-4PM and Saturday/other times by appointment. Please call 217-655-4353 or 217-799-8858 for appointments and questions. After you've met and decided on the pet for you, you will fill out the final paperwork and you will be able to take your pet home. All adopters must be able to meet and pick up their pet as we do not offer transportation. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
