Dash & Camy's Story
Dash and Camy were rescued from a colony in Gatineau and have formed a close bond while in foster care. They can be a little slow to warm up at first, but once they feel comfortable and safe, their affectionate sides truly shine. Both enjoy cuddling, and Camy is especially enthusiastic about making biscuits whenever she’s being petted.

They are full of energy and love to play. They enjoy chasing toys, wrestling with each other, and burning off their kitten energy together. When playtime winds down, they’re happy to relax nearby, often curled up together. They’re also big fans of cat TV and can often be found watching birds and squirrels with great interest. Once they’ve had time to settle in, this sweet duo will reward their future family with affection, purrs, and plenty of entertaining moments.

The Avery Foundation is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. Every TAF rescue cat is vet checked, vaccinated, treated for parasites, spay/neutered, microchipped and receive any necessary additional medical care.

Our adoption process involves an application, reference check, interview, and home visit prior to placement. From the time we receive your application through the screening process adoptions can take a couple weeks. We thank everyone who takes the time to apply but only those who best fit the cat’s requirements will be contacted.

If you’re interested in adopting Dash and Camy, please apply online at: https://www.theaveryfoundation.ca/adoption/adoption-application/cats/ or to learn more please send us a message.
