Darwin's Story

This beautiful blue-eyed girl has already overcome more than most kittens ever should. She was discovered at one of our recent TNRV sites in Davidson, hiding inside the home where her feeder once lived—after a neighbor began harming the community cats. Despite such a frightening start, her gentle spirit is still shining through.<br/><br/>We would like Darwin homed with another cat(s), as she's social and came from a community.<br/><br/>She may be a little shy at first, but the moment you start petting her, her “motor” kicks on full blast. Her loud, steady purr is her way of saying she’s ready to trust again. And once she feels safe? She’s an absolute champion biscuit maker—kneading away happily while soaking up affection.

Cats of Davidson's Adoption Policy

Submit an application. Once approved we'll set up a time for you to meet the cat you're interested in adopting. Age Requirement: In the best interest of the kitten's health and social development, we do not adopt kittens younger than six months of age as single pets to homes with no other animals. Pair Adoption: We believe that young kittens benefit from companionship and social interaction. Therefore, we will only consider adoption of young kittens in pairs to households without existing pets.
