Darlene

Darlene was brought to the shelter after she was found living as a stray. This poor girl was a bit of a mess when we got her. Her nails were so overgrown that they were actually piercing into her paw pads and she was in desperate need of some dental work with how bad her teeth were. A nail trim and dental surgery later, this girl is feeling so much better and is ready to find a home. Darlene is an older gal, estimated to be roughly 15 years old. She still has plenty of energy and is very talkative and will let you know when she wants her food, which is most of the time. Darlene is FIV+, which just means she has a weakened immune system, but can still live out her golden years healthy and happy. She does not require medication for that condition. She is definitely sassy toward other animals, so we recommend she be the only cat in her home. She seems like she would do well with children who understand to give her space when she is not in the mood for attention. Darlene is now in need of a loving home and family!
