Meet Darius

Darius arrived at Nine Lives of Norton on 8/27/09. On that day Darius and 5 litter mates were left at the shelter gate. Darius is a very handsome feline who has been at the shelter for far too long because of his shyness. Volunteers are working with him constantly to try to bring him out of his shell, but it is a very slow process. He will approach people for treats, but he still does not allow anyone to pet him. We need that special person to come along who is willing to devote a lot of time, love, and patience to this 15 year old guy. In the end they will have a kitty who will return that love tenfold. He will be happiest if adopted with one of his roommates, maybe his current bffs Sophia and Sarah???
