Dana's Story
Dana is a sweet little soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. She starts out shy and a bit nervous in new environments, but with a little patience and a lot of kindness, Dana truly blossoms. Once she feels comfortable, her playful side comes out in the best way—feather wands and ribbons are her absolute favorites, and watching her pounce and zoom around is pure joy.

Dana may take some time to warm up, but she’s the kind of kitten who makes every small milestone feel extra special. When she finally lets her guard down, she rewards you with adorable zoomies, soft purrs, and a glimpse of her loving personality. She’s not a “rush in” kind of kitten—she’s a “go slow, earn my trust, and I’ll steal your heart” kind of girl.

Dana would thrive in a calm, patient home with someone who understands that the best bonds are sometimes the ones you build gently over time. If you’re looking for a meaningful connection and the joy of helping a shy kitten grow into a confident, playful companion, Dana might just be your perfect match!

Dana is a 4-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This cat's adoption fee is $300 and includes vaccinations, microchip, spay, and FeLV/FIV test. We would love for you to meet this kitten and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

Dolly's adoption will be offered by private adoption appointment at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). Private adoption appointments are only offered to approved applicants for individual animals and need to be pre-scheduled directly with Bounce staff.

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at Pet Supplies Plus, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

For additional questions regarding meeting this cat please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.

Thank you for choosing adoption!
