Daisy's Story

Meet Daisy, a gorgeous 8-month-old long-haired tuxedo who is as soft as she is sweet. When Daisy first arrived at the shelter, she was quite overwhelmed and spent her days hiding. However, time and patience have worked wonders for this beautiful girl. Now that she has settled in, she has become a calm and accepting companion who truly enjoys the company of her trusted humans. In fact, once Daisy gets comfortable with you, she will even show off her silly side--she absolutely loves belly rubs! Daisy is a more independent soul but she still relies on her feline friends for confidence. While she isn't necessarily looking for a cat to snuggle with, she does require another cat in her forever home to provide her with a sense of security and "back-up" bravery. Because Daisy is a sensitive and timid girl, she is looking for a quiet, predictable home without dogs or children under the age of 12. If you are looking to adopt two youngsters, Daisy's sister Pixie is also available; while they are not a bonded pair, they coexist peacefully and would make a wonderful "ready-made" family for a serene household. Daisy's adoption fee is $225.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available.
