Daisy's Story
Say hello to Daisy.

A cat who is the poster child for the kind of transformations that happen at Haven, thanks to our team of fiercely dedicated and heart-driven volunteers.

When Daisy first arrived, she lived a bit like a whisper ... tucked under the couch, perched on high shelves. Hissing was a common communication.

Fear was her language, and safety meant staying out of sight.

Then our amazing team set about changing that world.

With proven socialization practices, unhurried hands, calm voices, and patient consistency, they offered Daisy one gentle invitation after another ... a slow blink, a soft brush of fingertips, a toy waved just within reach, and oh so many treat and food sessions.

Each love-filled action became a stepping-stone path toward trust.

Today, Daisy greets you with a robust head-butting leg rub when you enter the room. Her days under the couch have been left behind. And the hissing has been replaced with loud purrs.

Wow.

And ... this very special girl is now available for adoption.

She is affectionate, loves to play, reminds you when treat time is missed, and is aching for a special someone to call her own.

Daisy will need a home where her new people will continue to support her wallflower cat blossom.
