Daisy's Story
Daisy is the sort of cat that makes animal rescue all worth it.

Found in a local Milwaukee cat colony, she was rescued from a life of eating out of garbage cans. At 12 years old, it turns out sweet Daisy had been on the streets for a while. She had bad infections in both ears and some nasty teeth that needed to be removed.

Despite the twists & turns her life has had, she approaches everyone with an open heart. Trusting & kind, she is the gentlest of souls. At 12 years old she still loves tossing her mouse toy in the air, and playing with a ribbon wand like a kitten. She is a top-notch weighted blanket and loves sleeping on your chest or back. Following The Shangri-Las school of thought when snuggling - she likes to be 'close, very very close.' She tap-dances for food during mealtime, and grunts like a piglet instead of meowing (mostly). She has the softest fur and plushest coat.

In addition to her recent dental surgery and ear infection treatment; Daisy is spayed, micro-chipped, flea/tick treated, up-to-date on her vaccines, and dewormed.

During her dental exam there was a cyst found on her lower back near her tail. The vet pulled cells from it but found nothing conclusive. The vet said it should be monitored in the future, but finds nothing "alarming" about it.

Daisy has had no contact with dogs or young children. She would do well in a home with other, older chill animals, or as an only cat.

Won't you give this sweet lady the best home to live out the rest of her golden years?

Contact raggedclawsrescue@gmail.com to apply to meet this amazing kitty.
