Daisy's Story

Meet Daisy and Rosie, a beautiful 1-year-old sister duo who are ready to find a patient forever home where they can continue to grow and thrive together! Both girls started their lives as strays and have been working so hard on learning to trust humans. They have already made wonderful progress during their time with us, and watching their confidence build is an incredibly rewarding journey to be a part of. Rosie is a stunning girl who is still a bit bashful with people, but she is a total boss and a social butterfly among other cats! She is brave, highly playful, and absolutely loves to cuddle and brush up against her feline friends. Rosie recently had a routine dental procedure, during which the vet discovered evidence of a previous, old mandible (jaw) injury that has since healed. While there are absolutely no concerns that this will have any long-term negative impact on her health or quality of life, her future family should plan on a standard veterinary checkup down the road just to have her teeth monitored as part of her routine care. Her sister Daisy is a gentle soul with a delightfully sweet spirit. Though she is shy at first, once Daisy learns to trust you, she will give you the softest eyes and happily roll over to show you her belly for pets--which is her absolute favorite thing in the world! Because building a bond with these sisters is a gradual process, potential adopters may want to come spend time with them over multiple visits to gain familiarity and earn their trust. Patience is the key to their hearts, but the payoff is wonderful--once they know you, both Daisy and Rosie happily allow and lean into soft, loving pets. They are gentle souls by day, but potential adopters should definitely be ready for some entertainment--these sweet girls are known to get pretty zoomie in the middle of the night once the lights go out! This duo is looking for a predictable, quiet environment where they can continue to blossom at their own comfortable pace. Because they thrive in a peaceful setting, any children in the household should be at least 12 years of age and know how to be cat-savvy and respectful of their boundaries. A busy or noisy household could cause them to hide, so an adopter who understands when to give them their space is a must. They have successfully lived with a large, sweet dog before and would likely do very well with a calm, gentle canine companion or a fun, active resident cat who loves a good play session. If you have a peaceful home and the heart to help these sweet sisters fully realize how safe and loved they are, Daisy and Rosie are ready to meet you! Their combined pair adoption fee is $450.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment.

Stay up-to-date with all events and happenings at Caring for Cats!
