Daisy's Story

March 19th - Daisy is at the Pet Valu, 3505 Upper Middle at Walker's Line in Burlington. Go pay this cutie a visit.
Please read Daisy's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think she would be a good fit then please go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch
Daisy was surrendered to us last month with 2 others - the owner was unable to care for them properly , hadn't been vetted and she was facing eviction. Daisy went to our vet where she was flea treated, dewormed, received his FVCRP vaccine plus rabies, spayed , microchipped and had her teeth cleaned. She had the start of a pyometria ie uterine infection so it was a good thing that she came to our rescue and we had her spayed. After her round of antibiotics she is now ready for adoption. She will need a few days to settle in to her new environment but once she does she will be your friend forever. She loves to cuddle, play with her wand toy, and cat nip mice. Her adoption fee is $250. She is quite petite and could put on a pound or so. She would probably do well with another cat with proper introduction but she also shines on her own. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy.
