Dahlia — Waiting to Bloom Into Someone’s Heart
Meet Dahlia, a 1 year old dilute calico with the softest colors and an even softer soul. She’s as lovely as the flower she’s named after — and her story mirrors the magic of a dahlia’s bloom.

Just like a dahlia bulb planted in the earth, Dahlia began her journey quietly.
She came inside during a TNR project, still too small at her spay to receive her rabies vaccine. Sending her back outside unprotected wasn’t an option... so she stayed. And that’s when everything changed.

With sunshine (love), rain (care), and good nutrition, Dahlia began to grow.
Slowly... gently... beautifully.
She started trusting her foster mom, leaning into pets, and showing her sweet nature.

But Dahlia is still in her green plant stage — the tender part of growth where the stem is strong, the leaves are bright, and the bud is forming. She’s patiently waiting for someone who truly sees her... someone who will shower her with warmth, kindness, and stability.

And when that happens?
She will blossom.
Into the most beautiful flower you’ve ever known.

Dahlia’s Personality
Sweet, gentle, and quietly affectionate

Gets along well with most feline foster siblings

Would thrive with a friendly cat companion

Hasn’t been around dogs or small children — little kids may be too overwhelming for her
