Daffodil's Story

Meet Daffodil, the sweetest tuxedo cat there ever was. She lives for pets and belly rubs. Loves to hang out and watch TV together, but she won't crowd your space, this girl won’t try to be your sous chef, she stays off counters! She will, however, sleep on the bed with you all night long, no annoying mid-night wake ups and she will politely greet you once you're up with her sweet kitty cat chat.

Daffodil is very gentle and doesn't mind being picked up or held for short periods, she will also tolerate her nails being trimmed. Daff is also great with children and has been living with a 3yr old for the past few months and has shown excellent patience, never bites or scratches. She loves to play with string and dart after balls, she even enjoys wearing costumes. And while she hasn't had a full-time cat friend, she has been exposed to other cats and would do well with another cat or kitten.

Daffodil does have special needs, she has a history of seizures and needs an owner who has a consistent routine and can give her a pill twice a day to prevent more seizures. Her medicine comes in a convenient treat form that is very easy to administer. She has had a few break through seizures that have been provoked by change or stress but hopefully with a consistent lifestyle she can remain seizure free and there is a potential she will grow out of them (just like people do).

If you are interested in adopting Daffodil, please fill out an application at https://www.greenpointcats.org/adoption-application
