Daffodil's Story

Meet Daffodil!

Where do we even begin with this beautiful girl? Daffodil came to us after she was found outside, fending for herself while pregnant. She safely gave birth at The Pet Refuge and did an incredible job raising her kittens. Like many protective moms, she was a little spicy while caring for her babies, but now that every one of her kittens has found a loving forever home, it's finally Daffodil's turn.

We've been spending time getting to know her and learning what makes her happiest. We believe Daffodil would thrive as the only pet in her home, where she can have all the space and attention to herself. She's been enjoying the freedom of roaming one of our rooms and is slowly discovering that humans aren't so bad after all.

Daffodil seems like she truly wants to connect with people. She may not be ready for lots of pets right away, but with patience, understanding, and a little time, we believe she's going to make someone an incredible companion. Watching her confidence grow has been so rewarding, and we know there's a special person out there who will give her the chance she deserves.

Daffodil is approximately 1.5 years old, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccinations. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the happy ending she's been waiting for?

For more information and instructions on how to apply, please visit https://thepetrefuge.org/adopt/ Completing an adoption application is always the first step. Shelter visits are by appointment only and available to applicants whose applications have been approved.

We also invite you to follow us on social media: Facebook at Pet Refuge, TikTok @petrefugenk and Instagram @petrefugeri
