Dabney's Story

Dabney was a stray found by the middle school in Anaconda on 03/12/2025, and was transferred to Pintler Pets on 04/16/2025. He has no tail, and is already neutered by animal control and the local veterinarian. We don't know much about him yet as he has just arrived... He seems like a sweet boy. He really is outgoing and wants to get out of that isolation kennel and mix with the other cats. Update: Turns out that Dabney is a great lap cat. He also lounges in our outside catio and also loves being in one of our cat towers. We have discovered the Dabney has promoted himself to our unofficial "office cat". He loves people and turns himself inside out on a lap. He is a true manx in that he has limited control over his sphincter muscles and has a "poopy butt" so he needs to be an barn or shop cat, or needs an understanding home that can keep his butt clean.

All our pets are vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed/neutered before adoption. Kittens (under 6 months) are $100. Cats (over 6 months) are $75. Seniors are $40, and bonded pairs (cats) are $125, bonded pairs (kittens) are $150. Barn cats are $25. Effective 03/15/2024.

Our application is on our website: www.pintlerpetsmt.org and is also on the front page of Petfinder, on the middle right hand side under our logo.
