Cymric's Story

Cymric is hard to miss. With his rangy frame, distinguished gunpowder grey beard, and striking tuxedo coat, he cuts quite the figure. Underneath all that quiet elegance, though, is an unabashed, full-hearted Mama's boy. Cymric craves communication with humans. He’s affectionate and openly communicative, never shy about letting you know exactly how he's feeling. When he wants your attention — and he will want your attention — he'll rear up on his hind legs in front of you and ask to be picked up. And once you do, he tucks in close and purrs with the settled contentment of a cat who knows he is exactly where he belongs. Cymric is warm with everyone he meets, adults and children, and would absolutely thrive in a family environment. For him, that means more people to fuss over him, and that sounds just about perfect. He can be a little insecure around other cats, so a home where he gets to be the star of the show would suit him beautifully – the kind of home where he can work his way into every lap, charm every visitor, and feel secure in the knowledge he’s a bona fide member of the family.

Adoption Fee: $200
