Cyclone's Story

Cyclone came to us with her four siblings, and the whole crew was absolutely terrified. From the very beginning, Cyclone made one thing abundantly clear: she was not interested in whatever it was the humans were selling.

But once she settled into foster care, something pretty amazing happened. Cyclone quickly became the bravest of the bunch. At first, she would cautiously come out of hiding just to observe what was happening. She took her medication like a champ, started getting more comfortable with people nearby, and discovered one very important fact about humans: we come bearing snacks.

Cyclone still isn't interested in being held, and she'll need a family who understands that trust happens on her timeline. But she'll happily eat Churu right from your hand, and when food is involved, suddenly hiding doesn't seem nearly as important.

Underneath that cautious exterior is a beautiful little girl who is learning every day that people can be safe. With consistency, patience, plenty of treats, and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace, we have a feeling Cyclone is going to grow into one confident little beauty queen.

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.
