Cutie's Story

Cutie, where to start? Cutie was born in a backyard sewer. He came to us as a tiny kitten with his two siblings and both his parents. It was very clear the family was not accustomed to humans and wanted nothing to do with us. However, they couldn't go back to the sewer, so we started working to socialize them. Two years later Cutie, one of his brothers, and their parents are still with us. Cutie is ready to be adopted. He is interested in people, will come to you for treats, will even let us pet and brush him. He pretends to not like human interaction, but when you start to walk away he looks after you. Why would anyone want a cat who will obviously take patience and time? This is a two year old cat who needs a home and is very deserving. He isn't mean and he is wonderful with other cats. He simply needs to be in an environment where he can interact with humans all the time and get the attention he needs. Since he has always lived with a large number of cats, he would definitely need a feline friend or two. Cutie is just like his father, very lazy and laid back. He is great with his litter box, neutered and up to date with vaccinations, a good eater, loves treats and, we think, will be a nearly perfect cat to the right home. Some adopters like a challenge, and, if so, this is your guy. We know Cutie can be a wonderful addition to a family if he gets the chance, and have decided now is the time to try. We will be happy to advise and help if someone wants to give him a chance.
