Curry and Coriander's Story

Meet Curry and Coriander, a bonded pair of kitten sisters! They are approximately 8 months old.

Curry is a gray ghost-striped short-hair. Even more unique, she has a Bob tail. She loves sitting at the top of the cat tree watching the birds, following her foster brother around, and snuggling up on the bed. Her favorite things include cardboard boxes, fuzzy string toys, and chasing the laser pointer.

Important to know about Curry: she is suspected to have Manx Syndrome and is missing some vertebrae as a result. This doesn’t seem to impact her quality of life with the exception of a few accidents outside the litter box that have been reduced over time.

Coriander is also gray, with very subtle tabby markings and short hair. Cori also has a bob tail, although slightly longer than her sister’s. She likes to spend her time cuddling her foster mom and watching animal documentaries. She can’t get enough trying to steal any food her humans are eating, suckling on fuzzy blankets and wrestling with her sister.

Together, they make a very unique pair.

What Curry and Coriander are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- Curry had less experience with humans than her sister and can get nervous, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help her feel comfortable with new experiences.
- Curry will need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have an overall positive history with other cats. (Coriander gets along with all cats and Curry prefers other male cats.)
- They would prefer to not have dogs in the home.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Thank you for your interest in Curry and Coriander! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://bit.ly/ACPAdoptionForm

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response.
