Curry and Coriander's Story

Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Curry and Coriander, a bonded pair of sisters! They are approximately 12 months old.

Curry is a gray short-haired female with piercing golden eyes and ghost striping (secret tabby-patterned stripes that only show up in the sun). Curry also has something called Manx-syndrome which means she was born without a tail. Curry loves sitting at top of the cat tree to take long naps and watch the birds. She also loves chewing on cardboard boxes, chasing string toys, and sleeping next to her foster family at night. While Curry is still very shy with new adults, once she learns to trust you she loves chin scratches in bed and gently taking salmon treats from your hand.

Coriander is also gray short-haired female with more subtle ghost striping and chartreuse colored-eyes. Coriander also has a bob-tail (born with a short tail) and displays a primordial pouch that sways back and forth when she trots around. Cori’s favorite activities includes treat puzzles, bird tv, and lots of human snuggles. She also enjoys hopping in the shower nightly with her foster parent.
Together, they make a balanced pair demonstrating both shy and outgoing personalities.

What Curry and Coriander are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- Curry will need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They prefer to be the only pets in the house.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Curry and Coriander! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
