CSI DR GIL GRISSOM's Story
MAY 2026

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes, and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

One of our previous fosters found a mama cat (LUCY) and her 4 kittens (LILI - SHANDRA - JACE - ALANI) eating out of the dumpster at her work site in Hemet, California. Before trapping them, she reached out if we cold help her. We agreed if she would foster.

CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM was living in a cul-de-sac in San Jacinto, California. The family that was taking care of the ferals in their area reached out that they needed help with TNR.

They agreed to take care of the actual feral cats and we would help TNR them and take any little kittens. Well, we trapped several cats. All the others were feral. We caught CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM, CSI SARA SIDLE and CSI CATHERINE WILLOWS and brought them to our rescue.

Meet CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM , a dashing gray tuxedo cat from San Jacinto, California, whose cool demeanor is matched only by his irresistible charm. With his sleek gray coat accented by a pristine white bib and paws, this dapper detective is always dressed to impress, whether he’s investigating a sunny spot on the carpet or solving the mystery of the missing treats.

CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM is a gentle soul who might be a bit shy at first, but give him a little time and a few chin scratches, and you’ll unlock his affectionate side. He has a soft spot for pets and loves to curl up next to his favorite humans once he’s comfortable. One surefire way to his heart? A pouch of creamy Churu treats. Grissom lights up like a cat on a case when these are around—just call it his “secret weapon” for instant happiness.

This playful fellow enjoys batting at feather toys and chasing the occasional laser pointer, but his favorite pastime is making feline friends. CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM gets along famously with other cats and would thrive in a home where he can be a companion to another laid-back kitty. Together, they can team up for epic nap sessions and share the joys of cat companionship.

While CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM doesn’t mind playing detective on his own, he’s truly at his best when he’s part of a loving family that appreciates his subtle charm and steady presence. Whether it’s a quiet evening at home or a sunny afternoon spent lounging by a window, CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM is the perfect partner for all of life’s little moments.

Are you ready to bring home this suave sleuth and give him a place where he can finally relax and just be a cat? Let CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM investigate his way into your heart!

CSI DR. GIL GRISSOM is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TUXEDO MIX. He is about 2 year 8 months old and is good with cats.
