Crouton's Story

Crouton came into our care at just a few months old with his Manx mom and two siblings from a tough outdoor situation. All of his siblings have since found their forever homes but crouton has been overlooked time and time again because hes not initially outgoing when meeting new people. He is truly thriving in his foster home and will follow his caregiver around the house, meowing for attention, rubbing against legs, and soaking up affection like a little sponge. He purrs like an engine, loves cheek scratches, cozy laps and his classic Manx personality goofy & sweet shines brighter every day. Crouton still has a gentle, slightly cautious nature when adjusting to new spaces or people, but once he feels safe, he turns into a total lovebug. He adores other cats, is fine with dogs, and is becoming quite the bird toy chaser. Lauren's Lost Cats's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process begins with the potential adopter reaching out to us about their desire to adopt a cat or kitten. They are provided an adoption application, email and phone number in case they have questions or concerns. Once the application is in, Lauren ‘s Lost Cats volunteers check potential adopters place of residence, Landlord (that they allow pets) Vetrinary reference, personal references, Do Not Adopt Lists and social media to provide rescue with a snap shot of the adopters ability to care for, afford, and love the animal they adopt. In our application is a description of our desire to stay in contact with and assist adopter in the future.
