This gray tabby with the gentle eyes came from a home situation with several other cats, so his slow adjustment to the Care Center is totally understandable. Since he's been with us, Croquette is showing more comfort and curiosity: he'll poke his head out of his hidey box and allow staffers to treat him to gentle pettings. But he's still stressed by the sudden change in his life, and we keep whispering to him softly that we'll do all we can to find him a real forever home with pet parents who understand that some cats need a go-slow approach.
