Cronut's Story

Meet Cronut! Some cats spend their lives knowing the comfort of a warm bed and a loving family. Cronut wasn't one of them. This handsome, extra-large boy spent years fending for himself on the streets before finally finding his way to safety. At approximately 5 years old, Cronut is now getting the chance he has always deserved: a chance to be loved, protected, and cared for.

Life outdoors taught Cronut to be cautious, so he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But beneath that timid exterior is a gentle soul who absolutely loves being petted and fussed over. Once he realizes he's safe, he'll gladly settle in for attention, snacks, and one of his favorite activities... a nice, long nap! As you can see from his photos, Cronut has perfected the art of relaxing.

Because of his past, Cronut will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. He would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home without children or dogs, where he can blossom at his own pace and learn that he'll never have to worry about surviving on his own again. The special thing about cats like Cronut is that when they finally choose to trust you, the bond is incredible. Every head bump, every purr, and every moment of affection feels like a gift. We truly believe that with patience and love, Cronut will become an incredibly devoted companion.

Cronut is FIV-positive, but don't let that discourage you. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, healthy lives and can often live peacefully with both FIV-positive and non-FIV cats.

Cronut has already survived the hardest part of his story. Now all he needs is someone willing to give him the happy ending he deserves. Could that someone be you?

Cronut has been:
neutered
up to date on vaccines
combo tested positive (FIV+ / FeLV-)
flea treated and dewormed
Microchipped

** Many cats can enjoy long, beautiful lives despite having an FIV diagnosis. The important thing here is to provide them with appropriate veterinary care,
