Cricket- One of our longest resident kitties's Story
Have you been on the hunt for the cutest cow cat around but were turning up empty handed? If so, this is your lucky day! Meet the adorable, Cricket. This good girl was initially brought to us through no fault of her own, but only after her owner developed medical problems and was unable to care for her any longer. She ended up getting adopted by a nice person, but Cricket and his existing kitty, just never became BFFs, so now she's back with us. Cricket has an estimated birthdates of 3/1/17, which makes her about 9 years old. This sweet girl is a bit confused about how she ended up at the shelter again, but she is adjusting pretty well, and is just the sweetest girl. Cricket has never met a stranger, and she lights up with love, attention and brushes. And This girl LOVES brushings, and that's a good thing, as she is a little more "plentiful" than she should be, and as a result, she isn't able to reach the top of her back to too well. So needless to say, when you brush her back, and find that magic spot, she is a really happy girl. As a result of her excessive chonkiness, this lovely lass is on a bit of a weight loss journey. Cricket is a really laid back lady who never makes a fuss about anything, and she would be an ideal lap kitty and companion for one lucky person or family. Since she came back to us for not getting along with the resident kitty, we consider her to be cat selective. She may be ok with a different feline companion, or may once again not be a fan. She would make an ideal solo kitty though! We don't know her thoughts on dogs, but she may be fine with a gentle, respectful dog who gives her space.
