Cressida's Story
Cressida's story is both heartbreaking and hopeful. She was adopted from our rescue five years ago after surviving a very rough start to life - one of our fosters even adopted one of her kittens, and we thought she was headed for the happy ending she deserved. Sadly, that wasn't the case. Years later, Cressida was found declawed and living alone in a park for weeks. Her finder had seen her wandering for some time before finally bringing her to safety and scanning her microchip, which led her back to us.

Declawing is a cruel and painful practice that permanently changes a cat's life, and poor Cressi is now living with those effects. She still tries to climb and scratch, especially her favorite cat trees, but she just can't quite do what she used to - though she gives it her all. Despite everything, Cressida is incredibly sweet and loving. She adores being pet and cuddled, naps happily in her cozy bed, and loves to tuck herself into her avocado-shaped scratcher. She's an active girl who still enjoys jumping and exploring, so cat trees or shelves are a must for her.

Cressida isn't a big fan of other animals and would thrive as the only pet in a calm home. Like many declawed cats, she may face future challenges such as arthritis or occasional litter box issues, so she'll need an adopter who truly understands what lifelong commitment means - through every stage, every challenge, and every cuddle.

If you're ready to give this resilient, affectionate girl the stability and love she's always deserved, Cressida will reward you with endless devotion and the purest companionship.
