Since he thrives on companionship, Creamsicle needs to be adopted with another kitten, into a home with a young cat, or with an adult who’s home most of the day to keep him company. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. <br/><br/>Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.<br/><br/>Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If you decide to adopt a kitten pair the adoption fee is $350.<br/><br/>We do not do holiday adoptions as well as we require the cats to be adopted for indoor companions only (no outdoor living)<br/><br/>Our mission:<br/>The Marvellous Menagerie is a registered 501c3 and non-profit in the state of MN and is a growing neonatal kitten nursery, farm animal refuge and rescue for fur farm foxes. ?We are raising funds to buy a property. Every purchase will go toward the purchase of land, creation of enclosures, pastures and yards, a fully equipped kitten nursery and the health and happiness of all future residents.
