Crawford's Story

Location: In Foster
Sex: Male
?Color: Smokey Black
Birthday: 6 Months

No, this isn't a dust bunny from beneath your couch—it's Crawford! Can you imagine that this little fluff was discovered in a box at Riding Mountain National Park, near Crawford Creek? That's how he got his name, Crawford. Remarkably, he was not at all worse for wear. Going directly into foster care he knows nothing of the shelter life. Crawford is a boy of mixed emotions, frequently purring and hissing simultaneously or curious yet afraid. He adores human companionship, enjoying the warmth of curling up on your lap especially with morning coffee or with an evening read. He has become accustom to the large gentle dogs in his foster home & the other cats who all pitch in to look out for him. He has become friends with the youngest kitten there, Clover, who is also available for adoption. Crawford reveals his playful kitten side with her & do most everything together. Crawford shows no interest in traditional toys; he is perfectly content with a wrapper or a piece of string. He favors the basket section of the cat tree for napping and resting, particularly when he can snuggle with Clover. He would thrive either alone or with another young cat in a calm household. He has interacted well with older children and has responded positively. At present, Crawford exhibits a reserved & cautious demeanor. We have eagerly anticipate the emergence of his true personality once he became more settled and comfortable; but this might truly be it. If you are interested in Crawford, please fill out a Cat Adoption Application.
