Crabby Pants: The one eyed sweety!'s Story

Crabby Pants is a 4-year-old brown tabby boy with one striking green eye and a whole lot of personality. His right eye was removed, and he is doing wonderfully with his remaining eye. He has no current issues and does not require any special care or medication. It certainly doesn’t slow him down one bit.

During the past year at the sanctuary, Crabby Pants has blossomed into such a sweet and affectionate cat. He happily follows visitors around and insists on getting plenty of pets and attention. Once he decides you are his person for the moment, you can expect a very enthusiastic greeting committee.

Crabby Pants gets along well with other cats and dogs and would love a home and family to call his own. He is also FIV positive but negative for FeLV. With proper care, FIV positive cats can live long, happy lives just like any other cat.

This handsome boy is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to bring his charm, cuddles, and big personality to a forever home.

Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. Crabby Pants has been a sanctuary cat and lives inside/outside but he is in a protected environment. HE WOULD NOT BE SAFE OUTSIDE WITH HIS SIGHT IMPAIRMENT.

If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application.

Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes:

A combo test
Deworming
Spay/neuter procedures
Vaccinations
Microchipping

We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.

While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Additional adoption details:

Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses.
Home checks may be conducted.
Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168.
For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.

Can't adopt?
