CP - NC Snickers's Story
CP Snickers is a beautiful male Maine Coon mix cat with gorgeous green eyes, a big fluffy tail and the most adorable little muzzle ever! He is extremely affectionate as well as personable, gentle and all around super sweet. Snickers would love a home with his equally affectionate green-eyed male offspring named Scooter, if possible (see his post). Snickers and Scooter may even be father and son!

Snickers was found at a feed/seed mill where cats and kittens are discarded and left to try to survive with no food or water. He was in bad shape. He ended up at the emergency vet due to pneumonia. Subsequent x-rays continued to show an abnormality in his lungs-especially one side.

He has been followed very closely with monthly x-rays and his vet has consulted with an internal vet specialist as well as a board certified radiologist. Currently, his doctor has him on a two very small pills which he easily takes together once a day-that’s it! He is much improved now, and his last set of X-rays showed significant improvement. The doctor is pleased with his progress. The specialist thinks the underlining cause of the pneumonia was feline asthma, so that is his diagnosis after many months of thoroughly checking him out.

Snickers will likely need to stay on medication, however this is his only special need. Please only inquire if you are serious about wanting to adopt him and give him his best life possible. This will include monitoring/managing him with vet care.

Thank you for your interest in sweet Snickers!

Snickers is neutered, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative. He is cat and kid friendly!

Snickers is a courtesy post and is located in NC but transportation can be arranged for the purrfect home.
