Cowboy & Buttercup 's Story
Meet Cowboy and Nutty (aka Nutmeg or Buttercup!) — the ultimate dynamic duo! (Cowboy is long haired black and white, 2 years old; Nutty is shorthair torbie, 4 months old)

These two are a nonstop bundle of energy, personality, and pure fun.
Though they may be different in size, their playful, spunky spirits are perfectly matched. Wrestling, zooming, chasing, and tumbling — if it’s active, they’re all in. They truly never seem to run out of steam and are happiest when they’re together, which is always!

Nutty is especially known for her love of running on her exercise wheel and would absolutely thrive in a home that can provide one. She’ll also need plenty of space to zoom and lots of enrichment activities to keep her busy and out of mischief. A bored Nutty? Not recommended. A busy Nutty? Pure entertainment!

Her story started on the side of the road, alone and crying, until a kind family rescued her and made sure she got safely into care. Cowboy’s journey wasn’t easy either — he came from a hoarding situation where he was abandoned with 15 other cats in heartbreaking conditions. Despite that, he blossomed quickly in rescue. Now he’s affectionate, playful, loves to snuggle, and happily soaks up attention.

Together, they are inseparable. Their energy matches perfectly, and they truly are each other’s favorite playmate. (See video in comments of a fun wrestle match of them!)

They both do great with other cats and would thrive in an energetic household that can keep up with their zest for life. They haven’t been around dogs yet but may adjust with slow, proper introductions to respectful dogs who won’t chase them during their frequent zoomie sessions (which is… most of the time!).

If you’re looking for double the fun, double the love, and double the entertainment, Cowboy and Nutty are ready to bring nonstop joy into their forever home.
