Cow's Story
If you’re looking for a loyal companion for your playful cat, Cow is your guy!

Cow is an extremely active and spritely kitten. He loves to run, jump and sneak attack your feet. His cat naps never last too long, he has things to do!

Cow was found outside at 3 months old living in a groundhog hole. He was stealthy, almost unnoticed, but came out for some wet food and fried chicken! We’re so glad that he did!

He was scared and borderline feral! He started his time with his foster living in a bathroom and he hissed a lot. But with his foster’s perseverance, it took two weeks to come around to accepting pets- kind of lol. But he would hide behind the toilet and the sink.

That is… Until the foster’s resident cats met him! He loved them. He would purr just seeing them. Cow is a cat who absolutely loves other cats. Now, at 5 months old (as of 10/2025) with full reign of his foster home, he’s really come out of his shell. He loves playing and chasing the other cats. He’ll settle for a ball track tower but ultimately, his goal is to wrestle.

Cow is still apprehensive about hands and does not like to be pet. However he’s not aggressive when pets are given! But otherwise, acts as a normal kitten. He uses the litter box perfectly, loves wet and dry food and will even come on the bed for a snuggle on cold nights. He’s very curious and will follow you around, wondering what you’re doing. He’s the first to pop out and greet you when you come home.

We’re not sure how long it will take for him to completely come out of his shell and accept the love he deserves. We’d love someone to adopt him that will understand it may be never! He sure is fun to have running around the house and provides endless entertainment.

If you’d like a pet cat for your cat, Cow is the perfect cat for you!!

Cow is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative.

*To apply for Cow (as long as you have a playful cat or kitten!) please visit our website to view our adoption guidelines and fill out our application at catcallsrescue.org/adopt *
