Both kittens are polydactyl, meaning they have extra toes - in this case, on all 4 paws. They are super friendly, litter box trained, are good with kids, and love to run and play. They currently live in a home with adult cats so, are used to being around other cats that are not littermates.

Fur Kid Rescue's Adoption Policy
We work with herding dogs and specialize in Shetland Sheepdogs, Border Collies and Australian Shepherds The purpose of Fur Kid Rescue is to rescue unwanted, abused, lost and abandoned Border Collies, Shetland Sheepdogs, Australian Shepherds, and other herding breeds in need; assess their place-ability, and to place them into proper and permanent homes making the best possible match; to provide care and training information with each dog we place. It is our policy that adoptable animals will not be euthanized due to a lack of homes. Instead, we will keep the dog in our program as long as is necessary to find a suitable home. We do not have a shelter facility. All dogs are housed and cared for in foster homes. Before thinking about adopting a pet, we strongly recommend you learn all you can about the breed you are interested in. If not fully understood and given a proper outlet, many animals will find "something" to do on their own often resulting in destructive and undesirable behaviors ranging from chasing cars and incessant barking to chewing furniture. Equally important, they need human companionship and should not be left alone for long hours each day. If you are considering adopting, you must be willing to devote time and attention to meeting the needs of the dog. We require an adoption/donation fee and adoption application/contract. The donation fee includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations appropriate for the pets age, Heartworm testing, de-worming if needed. Animals may be adopted outside of the state. The adoption fee is not a sale price, but rather a donation in order for the organization to continue to further its rescue efforts. Our adoption process is as follows: first thing is to fill out an application with us (this can be e-mailed to you) along with 3 references along with your current Veterinarian's information to be contacted by us. Once they have been called, we can move on to setting up a time for a home visit. When approved to adopt a dog from us, your final step is to set up times/days to meet the foster dog(s) you are interested in. You can do this through each dogs foster home. Our adoption/donation fees are $300 for adult dogs and $400 for dogs under the age of 1 year old. All donations goes towards helping cover some of the medical expenses, flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, food, toys, treats, classes as needed, etc. Every cent we bring in goes to helping the next dog in need.
