Meet Countess Dracula

Meet Countess Dracula! Don't worry - her name is the scariest thing about her. Dracula is actually a very calm and gentle little gal. She is a 3 month old female Domestic Short Hair kitten.
Countess Dracula was transferred to us from another shelter that ran out of space. She was found by them as a stray, and was in pretty rough condition. They helped to get her healthy and and put some weight back on, so now Countess is ready to find a home! She is missing a few toes on one of her front paws, but the shelter could not tell if it was a birth defect or an injury. She can move around just like any other cat, though, and doesn't let it stop her! We have learned that Countess does get a little car sick when she is taken on short trips. Being a cat, this shouldnt be too much of an issue. The Countess also has a very small heart murmor. We did have a vet look at it and he said it should resolve itself. However, it is still an important thing to mention to your vet. Especially before she is spayed!
Countess is a pretty chill cat. She is a little shy when you first meet her, but she will accept cuddles from just about anyone! Once you start to gain her trust is when you will see her playful side come through. Countess Dracula has not been around other animals or children, so we recommend a meet and greet prior to adoption. She is still young and could adjust to new situations, but since she is a little nervous, she likely wouldn't like any rambunctious kids or animals that spook her too much.
Countess is litter box trained and has received her first round of vaccinations and got a clean bill of health from the vet! After being at two different shelters, she is ready to find out what it'd be like to have a family! If you think Countess Dracula could be the cat for you, please stop by and meet her today!
