Cosette's Story

Meet Cosette!! (case #212-09-30-06)

Sweet, serene, and delightfully squishy, Cosette is the kind of cat who looks like she was born to nap in sunbeams and star in period dramas. At 8–10 years old, she’s firmly in her “cozy auntie” era—always ready to lend you a calming presence, a gentle purr, and an unimpressed stare if you’re late with dinner.

Cosette is, let’s say… a little generous in the midsection. Her current shape could best be described as “round with legs.” This has made the fine art of self-grooming a bit of a challenge. Imagine a furry Roomba trying to reach behind itself and giving up halfway. That’s bath time for Cosette.

To help her become a healthier (and, frankly, less sticky) version of herself, Cosette will need some help losing a bit of weight. Nothing extreme—just a manageable plan, maybe some gentle play sessions, and someone willing to cheer her on while she slowly rediscovers her waistline.

She’s easy-going, good-natured, and asks for little more than a comfy spot, a steady routine, and someone who appreciates the quiet joy of just being. Cosette would thrive in a calm, quieter home where naps are respected and snack portions are measured.

If you’ve got a warm lap, a kind heart, and perhaps a lint roller or two, Cosette might just be your perfect match.
