Corporal Truelove (Bonded with Sockeye)

Corporal Truelove is 8 years old and has been with us for 5 years now, with multiple unsuccessful adoption placements. Each time he leaves for a new home, he goes on a hunger strike, shows signs of depression, and isolates himself from the world. But the second he comes back to us, he strolls right back into his room and happily makes himself at home. Even though he is a friendly, laid-back guy, he tends to bully other cats and mark his territory by peeing on items. Because of this, we believed he would be happiest as the only cat in a home. Fast-forward to today, and he has completely amazed us with the sweet and loving connection he has formed with his shelter pal, Sockeye. We often find them grooming each other and cuddled up side by side. Corporal Truelove and Sockeye have developed such a beautiful bond that cannot be broken. They need to find a new home together as a pair! <br/><br/>Corporal Truelove is wonderful with people and, of course, his lady love Sockeye. He is an easy-going fella who spends his days going from his food bowl to the purrfect nap spot. All he needs is some tasty treats, a cozy bed to sprawl out on, and a little love and attention. Corporal Truelove did not always pee inappropriately, but it became more frequent as more cats joined him in his room. We are optimistic that once he is out of the busy shelter environment and settled into a calm home with his sweetheart, Sockeye, the peeing will stop. Corporal Truelove may be a little on the chonky side, but he is healthy and looking for a peaceful and cat-savvy home where he can stretch out and unwind. No young children or other cats please! <br/><br/>We are crossing our paws and hoping to work some magic to find the purrfect forever home for this quirky yet incredibly adorable duo, Corporal Truelove and Sockeye.
