Cornelius's Story

You can apply for Cornelius at **www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org** under the 'Adopt/Foster' Tab. ❤ï ̧
Cornelius is a handsome male Domestic shorthair kitten born approximately June 22, 2024. Cornelius and his sister Delilah, and another sibling were living in the front yard of a house flanked by two streets, which became a dangerous situation. Our foster went several times to their location at all hours but the owner of the house would not cooperate and kept saying they were hers. News spread to our volunteer that the sibling was hit by a car, so at that point she went to the house and “took” Cornelious and Delilha to save them from a similar fate. Cornelius is a confident, affectionate boy who loves attention and playtime. He’s the brave leader, always first to explore, and will eagerly climb into your lap for cuddles. He comes when called, whether for food or snuggles! Cornelius enjoys all kinds of toys, from balls to string toys, and he’s a champion at using the litter box.
Cornelius was adopted in May of 2025 out of Fort Lauderdale and ended up being surrendered to a shelter in Norfolk, VA by his adopter, due to some sad family circumstances. Some wonderful volunteers got a plan together and we flew him back to Florida where he is once again looking for a new furever home!
Cornelius is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). He is litter box trained.

Cornelius is located at the Good Luck Cat Cafe (901 Progresso Drive, #202, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304). For more information contact laura@ladyluckanimalrescue.com or text 954-562-6857. You can apply at ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
