Corduroy's Story

Meet Corduroy!

Corduroy is one of the friendliest, floppiest, most affectionate kittens we have ever had. Much like his sister Ursa he loves to be held like a baby and loved on all day long. He is very playful and loves his feather toys but he is always ready to curl up in your arms for a nap.

Corduroy was born with congenital deformities called pectus excavatum (the inward curving of his sternum) and flat chested kitten syndrome (his rib cage was “flattened”). Both these conditions made him at very high risk for lung collapse and failure to thrive. With physical therapy and TLC, his conditions have been almost entirely corrected and they do not affect his quality of life or life expectancy. He is, for all intents and purposes, a perfectly healthy kitten.

Corduroy would like to go to a home with another young cat or to be adopted with another kitten, as he needs a playful companion.
