Coraline - Loves Being Dramatic's Story

Coraline is a dramatic, talkative and friendly cat. She loves to tell you how she feels about everything. She loves cuddling at bedtime and will want a good spot on the bed. Cora enjoys watching cat tv clips of birds and squirrels on youtube. Her foster even sets up an ipad for her to watch during adoption events.

Coralines favorite roommate is the large Aussie dog that lives in her foster home. She will curl up next to her dog buddy and purrs loudly when she sees him. Cora also gets along with the other cats in her foster home, although it takes her a few weeks to adjust to a new cat roommate.

Coraline has been waiting a year for her forever home. She can be grumpy at SCP adoption events and unfortunately doesn't show how friendly and affectionate she really is. She was born in May 2025 and was pretty sick when impounded at a crowded shelter. That put her at risk, but thankfully SCP pulled her from the shelter and gave her the care needed to get healthy. Cora is now waiting eagerly for a loving home of her own!

The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058). If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and email it to us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com for pre-review.
