Coral's Story

Coral came to the rescue with her 4 very young kittens in 2024. She was a wonderful mama to her own kittens and mothered (including nursing) every kitten that came to her foster home after her own kittens.

This pretty calico mama took time to trust her foster caregiver. Her foster suspects that she was not always treated kindly by her humans (and most likely dumped when she got pregnant). Once you earn her trust, she will love you forever and seek affection from you. She will talk to you to get your attention.

Coral needs a patient cat person that will allow her to acclimate to her new home at her own pace. She is comfortable with her foster’s small dog. Coral’s perfect forever home will have no small children. If there are dogs in the home, they need to be calm dogs who will allow her to keep her distance if she chooses to do so. She will thrive in a quieter home where she can relax in the sunshine in a cat bed or cat tree and enjoy some catnip (which she absolutely loves).

Coral has watched all of her kittens and all of her friends get adopted one after another since May 2024. She wonders when it will be her turn to meet her new favorite person. This beautiful, sweet cat deserves a forever home of her own.

Coral is currently best buddies with a kitten in her foster home. She loves him. They groom each other and cuddle frequently. She looks for him when he is playing with the other kittens in his foster home instead of hanging out with her. His name is Casper, and he is also available for adoption through Paws Fur Life.
